Lavender: Looking down at Char when she made a grab for Lavender's hand, the girl couldn't help but smile slightly. Shifting her body so she was able to lie down, look at Char, /and/ hold her hand, Lavender wrinkled her nose at Char's answer to her question. "Seriously? Everyone's still bickering? This is longer than usual." She says, unable to help but let out a slight laugh. Looking around, she nods her head. "Yeah, I liked it better sleeping. This place is so boring and they serve awful food." She nudges her head in the direction of the untouched food.
Charlie: Nodding at her words, Charlie grinned and shook her head. "I know. Everyone kept whispering about you in the halls, though. Seems like everyone couldn't get enough of the drama with you and Pansy bloody Parkinson. I cannot believe that she did something like this to you. Merlin," She muttered the last part, frowning as she lightly squeezed Lav's hand. "Lucky for you, I brought some treats with me. I've had my fair share of hospital wing food, and it's horrid. I brought you some cauldron cakes."

Lavender: Lavender had just woken up, and immediately Madame Pompfrey ordered her to eat the disgusting Hospital Wing food that they were serving to patients today as well as informing Lavender on her condition. Looking around the Wing when Madame Pompfrey left, there was hardly anyone there, only a second year Ravenclaw and a fourth year Hufflepuff who were ill. Pushing away the awful food, Lavender looked up when she heard the door open, it was Char. Immediately she grinned as the girl made her way over. "Char," she says. "I'm feeling alright, how's the outside world?"
Charlie: Without thinking of it, Charlie reached over and took Lavender's hand in her own. It was just one of those things. When people were bedside to a patient in the hospital, don't they usually hold hands..? Oh well. Maybe it was just an excuse for her wanting to hold Lav's hand. But, that wasn't the point. Pushing the thoughts aside, she rolled her eyes and laughed a bit before replying, "Horrid as usual. Nothing's changed much since you've been dead asleep in this bloody place."

Charlie: As soon as she got news of Lavender waking up, Charlie was on her way to the hospital wing. Though she had been in the middle of a conversation with someone, she turned her back on them and went to go see Lav. As she entered the hospital wing and spotted the blonde, a smile came to her face and she walked over to her hospital bed. "Hey, love... how are you feeling?"

He does that a lot, doesn’t he? I’ve never fallen asleep in his class. Potions was one of my favourite subjects, and DADA always has been, so I’m usually wide awake. Divination is a different situation, though.
